Mother's Day at Kompass

This happens in March in Egypt . . . and for some reason required costumes.




The kids presented us with carnations and picture cd's hung around their necks like they were little st bernards.



This is Emmett with Shadiya, his settling in teacher. She speaks to him only in Arabic.

Sometimes at home he'll say something to me and I have no idea what it is.
