What about Thomas' old babysitters? Phyllis came by for a visit not too long ago. It was great to see her.
And Vanessa is studying hard for her GRE's. She says she hopes there's an essay with questions about Volcanos.
Grand Kathy came to check out the new house and to snuggle with her grandsons.
And here's a short video of those adorable Kirkpatrick men thinking that they are sitting for a photo.

that seemed to work quite well....not having a still shot
Hello Phyllis !!! Could we have a picture of Astrid ?
Wm. Bradford has gone missing for a couple of posts. Was there a Colonial ISP fail or did the natives/indigenous peoples get restless?
Welcome to America, Clare. You were wise to come in summer. Our November arrival is not to be recommended. The 60 day trip across the Atlantic is arduous enough, especially when the welcome of the natives is uncertain. You do seem to have won them over, though such alliances can be transient. We, of course, all did intend to stay forever, though for some forever turned out to be quite brief.
I see that you avoided scurvy.
Congratulations.

P.S. Phyllis and Vanessa would have been welcome at Plymouth too. A brief indenture could have preceded a well arranged marriage.
